My parents engaged Karen as their interior designer for their resale HDB in Woodlands, she is very patient and experienced designer who managed to answer all our design/technical questions professionally.

During the whole renovation, Karen was very responsive and updates us on the reno progress very regularly.

We started our home renovation late last year. We met quite a few interior designers from various companies before decided on Underrated Studio. We met Connie from Underrated Studio, she gave us a very reassuring feel right from the start. She is not pushy at all.

Fast forward to the renovation process. Connie was always there for us with her prompt replies, the service and advice was good throughout the whole renovation process, rectification works are done quickly.

Overall, it was a great experience. I would recommend Underrated Studio and especially Connie for sure.

Mai & Shalini always deliver their promise and always got the extra mile in helping us achieve the design of our dream home. They endlessly share their ideas to us so that we have a clear picture on how our dream home would look like. They would always update us on the progression of our home renovation on a regular basis .Their fun and happy go lucky character had make the journey much more fun & comfortable, whenever we highlight any issues, they would address it right away and give their best effort to assist us.

Mai & Shalini both are very honest ID and does not work based on monetary returns and commission, they are very transparent with the pricing.
Workmanship is top notch for sure! everything is nicely done and up to our satisfaction.

Never knew that there were so many things to look at when renovating a house, even for a small 3room BTO flat. It was a daunting task for me but thank God i was recommended Jayne of Underrated Studio by my sister.

It is our first renovation ever! We chose underrated studios because the initial package was reasonable in terms of cost and what it entails. Shalini was very helpful throughout the entire process, answering our questions, understanding our needs while keeping the renovations under budget. We appreciate that there is transparency, consistent updates and no hidden costs! Kudos to Shalini and team for doing a great job, would engage them again and highly recommend to others!

After sourcing from multiple IDs, what drew me to Underrated Studios was their cheaper pricing. But I was worried about the quality as well as the experience of the ID assigned to me (Connie). However my worries were wiped away once getting to meet her. She was very encouraging of letting me build my dream house while giving me advise on how to make plans, a reality. She also gave good financial advise and told us to buy certain things online as it was more value for money, with our budget in mind.

This really impressed me as she treated us more like friends rather than a employee/employer relationship. The quality of the house was very good. There were some mistakes due to misunderstanding but Connie and her team was quick and willing to rectify it, even weeks after the final payment was done. I have already recommended to my friends and they too have signed a contract, showing how impressive Underrated is.

At first we were so worried that it would be hard to find a responsible ID who provides quality materials with reasonable price.

Luckily we found Yu Chen. We are very thankful that Yu Chen delivered top-notch renovation and consultancy service. Yu Chen is very honest & responsible designer, he gave us many advice on the pros & cons of our options & requirements. We are also pleased that he took extra effort to go around the tile shops to find similar tiles we saw online. The whole renovation experience was great, it took a little longer than expected due to manpower shortage which I can totally understand and the results were worth it.
